My fitness routine

Postby FerndaleDave » Fri Nov 01, 2013 1:37 pm

Hi guys and gals,
I am 66 and retired and am getting ready for my first season of snowboarding. Hooray!!
My exercise routine is a Jazzercise DVD called Dancing Abs. I do a 45 minute workout at least 4 days per week, sometimes more, and every time I am sweating when it's over.
It has made a real difference in my core, which was the flabbiest part of my body. I don't have a ribbed abdomen like you see in ads, but it has made a real difference.
Today I incorporated some squats into the routine and oh boy did I feel them. I'm glad I have this wonderful resource to gain knowledge about what I should be doing.
I also take my new board out on the lawn each day, with boots on, and practice jumping up and spinning the board 180 degrees and doing Ollies off the lawn.
I thank you all for posting all of the info that has made a difference for you.
Cheers,
David C
PS Mt Baker is expected to get a minimum of 17 inches of snow in the next few days!!!

Whoa! 17 inches!
Winter is here and we haven't even fallen back yet.
When does Baker open?

I'm not positive but somewhere I saw a note about it opening on Nov. 21st. That may have been from last year.
So far I haven't seen anything on their website about an opening date.

The forecast has changed to only 5" in the next few days.
Well, at least it is some snow.
Cheers,
David
