NASTAR Nationals 2011

Most Grays on Trays aren't into competitive riding--halfpipe, slopestyle, boardercross, etc.--but we can still appreciate the skills of those who do. Talk about the Olympics, X Games, the U.S. Snowboarding Open, etc. here.

At this point in the season I normally would have raced 4 or 5 days. But I have yet to do it. Maybe this weekend, if they're running the course on my home "mountain."

Pat, how much do you charge? I'm used to paying $5 for 3 runs or $10 for a day. I recently visited a resort that charged $10 for 2 runs, which was too rich for my taste, so I deferred.

Due to technical difficulties, the user "John" is now running as "John2." New and improved?

The 2011 Nationals took place last weekend and we had a blast!

My dilemma is that I turn 65 in a few months and next year I'm likely to race unopposed in my age group. If you know any age 65-69 boarders, please encourage them to come out and race!

Thanks Rod!

It was a very satisfying year. Hate to see it come to an end.
