NASTAR Open - Windham Mtn. New York Feb 6-7

Sorry I didn't post this earlier. NASTAR schedule two regional championships this year, one at Crystal Mountain, MI and the other at Windham Mountain south of Albany, NY. The former was held last weekend and the folks who attended gave it rave reviews. The latter will take place on Feb 6-7. Anyone who is registered at http://www.nastar.com is eligible. Everyone races on Saturday and age group winners compete in the Race of Champions. I heard that the organizers made a distinction between hardboot and softboot riders at Crystal. Interesting approach.

Anyhow, I've signed up for Windham and already booked my flight for the Nationals In Winter Park in late March. Hope some of you can join me!

Sorry I missed that Midwestern version, though I'm not sure I would have been able to make it. ... It's nearing mid-January and I still haven't run a course! Family responsibilities, a late start to the season, etc.
